TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE (TDV) is engaged in the development of special wheeled armoured vehicles, armoured cabs and special superstructures. Collaboration with experts and cutting-edge technology enables TDV to develop sophisticated solutions that exceed the standard requirements of the defence industry. The company’s development team is made up of experts who are constantly working to innovate and improve products, which includes the development of the Pandur II 8×8, TITUS 6×6 and TADEAS in 6×6 and 4×4 versions.
Another key area is the development of armoured cabins for the Tatra model series, which are characterized by a high level of ballistic and mine resistance. These cabins are designed to meet the strictest international standards and provide maximum safety for the crews. Armoured cabs can be manufactured up to ballistic protection level 4 according to STANAG 4569. TDV’s innovation processes include the continuous adaptation of the cabins to new technologies and developments.
The development of the GEPARD light combat vehicle is another indicator of the TDV’s ability to respond to the specific requirements and needs of modern armed forces. Designed for special forces and airborne units, Gepard vehicles combine mobility, agility and a high level of protection, which is the result of close cooperation with Czech manufacturers and the use of Toyota Land Cruiser chassis.
